Philly Radio Station Raises over $17K for Women’s Shelter in Dallas

A radio station in Philadelphia got tired of complaining about Dallas Cowboys defensive end Greg Hardy, whose charge of assault was recently expunged.
On the same day that Deadspin released photos of his ex-girlfriend after the 278-pound pass-rusher allegedly assaulted her, members of the Josh Innes Show took action.
They created a GoFundMe page to raise money for the Genesis Women’s Shelter in Dallas. The goal was $3,000—in 24 hours, the page received over $17,000.
Many of the donations were from Eagles fans, who did not mince words about their feelings toward the Cowboys or Hardy.
Philadelphia will travel to the Lone Star State to take on Dallas at 8:30 p.m. ET this Sunday.
