Jonas Gray Waived by Dolphins: Latest Comments and Reaction

The Miami Dolphins waived running back Jonas Gray on Tuesday in order to make room on the active roster for center Sam Brenner.  
The team announced the roster move on Twitter. Andrew Abramson of the Palm Beach Post noted a strong debut from rookie Jay Ajayi against the Buffalo Bills on Sunday made the Notre Dame product expendable.
Gray appeared in six games for Miami, and he rushed for 122 yards on 31 carries and caught six passes for 72 yards with no touchdowns.
He's failed to make much of an impact since his breakout game as a member of the New England Patriots last season. He came out of nowhere to rush for 201 yards and four touchdowns in a victory over the Indianapolis Colts. He missed practice the next week and never regained a prominent role.
