Justin Pugh Injury: Updates on Giants OT’s Concussion and Return

New York Giants offensive lineman Justin Pugh is currently being put through the league's concussion protocol, leaving his status for Sunday's clash with the New England Patriots up in the air.

Pugh Finished Giants' Week 9 Game vs. Tampa Bay BuccaneersWednesday, Nov. 11Tom Rock of Newsday reported the tackle is being assessed through the protocol despite finishing last week's game. It's unclear exactly when the possible head injury occurred.
Pugh previously dealt with a concussion as a rookie in 2013.
He's started 39 games for New York since being drafted in the first round. He's been a stabilizing force thanks in large part to his versatility that's allowed him to play both tackle and guard.
If Pugh is forced out of the lineup, the Giants would likely lean on Dallas Reynolds and John Jerry to pick up the slack until he receives full clearance.
