Coach Mike Singletary! That has a nice ring to it! Say it with me one more time, “Coach Mike Singletary!’ Well coach you have done it this time. It seems that you are now the father Flanagan of the NFL. In no way do I want anyone to take this as a slight to Big Mike. I am just stating what I see as a fan.
 
Not that the 49ers have never had problem children on the team before. There was Charles Haley, Terrell Owens, and Lawrence Phillips who caused their own issues, but never in my 38 years of being a fan of this team have so many problem children been on the team at once.
 
Anthony Davis had problems at Rutgers and was suspended for team violations. They say he has an issue with his weight and desire to play the game. Anthony Davis knows hard feelings.
