Calvin Johnson Sets Record with 15th Touchdown Against Packers

Detroit Lions wide receiver Calvin Johnson recorded his 15th touchdown reception against the Green Bay Packers during Thursday's 27-23 loss, breaking Randy Moss' old record of 14 career touchdown catches in games against Green Bay, per Elias Sports Bureau (via ESPN Stats & Info).
Coming off a three-score performance against the Philadelphia Eagles on Thanksgiving, the 30-year-old Johnson got off to another fast start, making a beautiful 17-yard catch in the end zone toward the end of the first quarter to extend Detroit's early lead to 17-0.
But Johnson otherwise had a forgettable night, finishing with just three catches for 44 yards and the one touchdown in a game the Lions eventually lost on a 61-yard Hail Mary on an untimed down.
Even with Thursday's down performance, Johnson has a solid track record in his 16 career appearances against the Packers, averaging 5.6 catches for 88 yards, not to mention the 15 touchdowns.
