2010 NFL Draft: Sam Bradford Looks To Earn Richest Rookie Contract Ever

With the first overall pick in the draft, the St. Louis Rams selected quarterback Sam Bradford.
Destined for a franchise quarterback, the Rams nabbed Bradford and is now the face of the organization.
But now the contract talks are beginning, and what we can guarantee, is Bradford getting the richest rookie contract (guaranteed money) without even stepping onto the field.
Don't believe me?
Well, there are a few reasons. I don't buy just because the Rams aren't the biggest market does not mean they won't give Bradford the contract he wants.
The Rams had the choice of passing on Bradford if they felt they couldn't sign him, but knew they had to take Bradford with the situation they were in.
Last year, Matthew Stafford received a six year, $78 million dollar contract with $41.7 million in guarantees.
Sam Bradford will command a contract of the caliber of Stafford, but with more guaranteed cash.
The argument still remains if Bradford was the best fit ...
