DeMarco Murray Reportedly Met with Chip Kelly to Discuss Role for Rest of Season

Philadelphia Eagles running back DeMarco Murray reportedly had a long meeting with head coach Chip Kelly earlier this week and wasn't given any guarantees he'd have a bigger role moving forward.
Adam Caplan of ESPN reported on the meeting prior to the Eagles' Week 14 contest against the Buffalo Bills Sunday.
Murray logged only eight carries for 24 yards in Philadelphia's most recent victory over the New England Patriots. He's had an enigmatic start to his time with the Eagles, who signed the 27-year-old to a five-year, $40 million contract this offseason but have seen Murray produce just 3.5 yards per carry.
NFL Network's Ian Rapoport had another update prior to kickoff that suggested Murray will hardly see the field versus Buffalo—if at all.
"Murray is expected to be the fourth-most used running back on the Eagles today," Rapoport said, per NFL Media.
