Todd Gurley Injury: Updates on Rams RB’s Foot and Return

St. Louis Rams running back Todd Gurley has a foot injury, and his playing status for Week 17's clash with the San Francisco 49ers is very much in doubt.

Latest on Gurley's Playing Status Saturday, Jan. 2 ESPN's Adam Schefter reported Gurley is unlikely to play on Sunday. 
According to the Rams' official website on Friday, Gurley did not practice on Wednesday, Thursday or Friday because of the setback. Head coach Jeff Fisher also offered a comment, per the Rams: "We've listed Todd as doubtful for Sunday. We're thinking about the long-term picture."
Gurley Injury Slows Rams' Offense The rookie running back out of Georgia was selected 10th overall by the Rams despite recovering from an ACL injury he suffered in November 2014 that sidelined him for all but six games.
But in those six games, Gurley rushed for 911 yards and nine touchdowns, making him an extremely attractive target for teams in need of help in the backfield....
