Steelers’ Brown Sets 2-Year Record with 265 Receptions

Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Antonio Brown finished the 2015 regular season with 136 receptions, giving him the all-time NFL record for most catches (265) over a two-year span, per Jayson Braddock of RotoExperts and ESPN 97.5 Houston.
The previous record of 252 was set by former Indianapolis Colts wide receiver Marvin Harrison, who caught 109 passes in 2001, followed by an NFL single-season record 143 receptions in 2002.
The gap between Brown's two seasons was significantly smaller, as he caught 129 balls for 1,698 yards and 13 touchdowns in 2014, then had the aforementioned 136 catches for 1,834 yards and 10 scores this year.
If not for a knee injury to Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger that led to an October slump, it seems more than likely that Brown would have broken Harrison's single-season receptions record.
