Johnny Manziel Issued Citation for Driving with Expired License Plates

Cleveland Browns quarterback Johnny Manziel received a citation at 8:28 a.m. on Jan. 2 for driving with expired license plates.
Scott Taylor of WOIO Channel 19 in Cleveland posted a picture breaking down the offense:
The citation indicates Manziel can waive a court appearance, scheduled for Jan. 21, by paying a $125 fine online.
Manziel's new year reportedly got off to a rough start, and the citation represents another blemish on his less-than-pristine record. According to USA Today's Scott Boeck, Manziel was spotted in Las Vegas on Jan. 2 after he was ruled out for the team's regular-season finale after being placed in the league's concussion protocol.
ESPN's Pat McManamon noted police stopped Manziel in North Olmsted, Ohio, which is near Cleveland Hopkins International Airport and the Browns facility.
