New York Giants defensive end Jason Pierre-Paul required another surgery on the hand he injured in a fireworks accident last July.

Pierre-Paul, 27, accumulated 26 tackles, two fumble recoveries and a sack in eight games this past season. It was a down year for Pierre-Paul, who posted 12.5 sacks in 2014, though his abbreviated season and hand injury certainly played a major role in his lower production.
JPP missed half of the season after a contract dispute with the Giants. The team used the franchise tag on the defensive end, but he never signed his tender, and the parties eventually agreed to a one-year deal in October.
The Giants finished 30th in the NFL with just 23 sacks this season, so bringing back a top pass-rusher like Pierre-Paul would be a logical move. With mor...
