John DeFilippo Reportedly to Be Named Eagles QB Coach: Latest Comments, Reaction

New Philadelphia Eagles head coach Doug Pederson will reportedly hire John DeFilippo as his quarterbacks coach.  
Mike Garafolo and Peter Schrager of FoxSports.com were the first to report the news Tuesday.
DeFilippo spent last season as the Cleveland Browns' offensive coordinator after a three-year stint as the Oakland Raiders' quarterbacks coach.
While the Browns struggled as a team this past season with a record of 3-13, DeFilippo did more with less from an offensive perspective.
Cleveland ranked 25th in yardage and 30th in points per game, however, the 37-year-old coach had the unenviable task of cycling through quarterbacks Johnny Manziel, Josh McCown and Austin Davis.
With DeFilippo at the helm, tight end Gary Barnidge and wide receiver Travis Benjamin both enjoyed career years, which were no small feats considering the team's issues under center.
