Eli Manning Replaces Ben Roethlisberger on 2016 Pro Bowl Roster

Michael Eisen of Giants.com reported on Friday that quarterback Eli Manning will be heading to the Pro Bowl on Jan. 31. According to ESPN's Dan Graziano, the New York Giants signal-caller will replace injured Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger (shoulder) at the exhibition game.
Manning earned his fourth Pro Bowl nod after putting up one of the best seasons of his 12-year career.
The Giants congratulated Manning on Twitter:
Manning threw for a career-high 4,436 yards and 35 touchdowns while limiting his interceptions. After leading the league in 2013 with 27 interceptions, Manning has thrown 14 in each of the last two seasons.
He had one of the games of his life in a losing effort against the New Orleans Saints in Week 8, throwing for 350 yards and six touchdowns. That game was one of five in which Manning threw at least three touchdown passes.
