Corey Brown Breaks Panthers Record for Longest Postseason Reception

Carolina Panthers wide receiver Corey Brown had a particularly memorable outing in Sunday's 49-15 drubbing of the Arizona Cardinals in the NFC Championship Game, with his 86-yard touchdown setting a franchise record for the longest reception in a playoff game, per the Panthers PR Dept. Twitter account.
After failing to top 59 receiving yards in any of his 14 regular-season appearances, the 24-year-old Brown burnt Cardinals safety Rashad Johnson for the aforementioned touchdown late in the first quarter of Sunday's game to give the Panthers an early 17-0 lead.
Brown would ultimately finish with four catches for 113 yards and the one score on seven targets, topping or matching his season-high marks in every major receiving category.
He also had the first 100-yard receiving game of his two-year career, with 66 yards representing his previous career-best mark.
