Broncos DC Wade Phillips Wants Players to ‘Quit Twittering’ Him Asking for a Job

The moment the story of safety Shiloh Keo became a viral hit, Wade Phillips and the Denver Broncos had to know they were about to get flooded for requests by prospective players looking for a shot at an NFL roster spot.
Now, Phillips just wants it all to stop.
Back in December, Keo saw Phillips sign a different safety when the Broncos needed some depth in the secondary. Wanting to let his former defensive coordinator from his days with the Houston Texans know that he was still available, the free-agent safety took to Twitter and ended up having a brief conversation with the coach.
About a week later, the Broncos signed Keo.
A story like that is almost too good to believe. A football player getting a look with the help of Twitter? That kind of stuff doesn't happen every day. Now Phillips just wants players to stop contacting him on social media to try to get a roster spot.
