Welcome to NFL 2016…sort of.
We’re about to spend a little time talking about what could happen once the NFL free-agent market opens for business March 9. 
You won’t be surprised by most of the six teams (three from each conference) included. Each is listed in order of most anticipated available salary-cap space, because all have room to improve or have definitive needs. 
We have also factored in a team’s recent free-agent history. In other words, there are those franchises that use the open market, and there are clubs like the Green Bay Packers and Pittsburgh Steelers that are quiet this time of year and rely on the draft. We are also taking into account the uncertainty of changes in front offices.
Remember, free agency doesn’t begin until March 9. So keep in mind things can shift dramatically. In...
