Ryan Lindley Released by Colts: Latest Details, Comments and Reaction

The Indianapolis Colts released quarterback Ryan Lindley on Tuesday, according to Around the NFL. 
Lindley was with the Colts for just one game last season. Indianapolis signed the 26-year-old during Week 17 after encountering a number of injuries at the quarterback position.
The team saw four different quarterbacks under center after Andrew Luck's injury.
Veteran Matt Hasselbeck started eight games, but when he went down, perennial backup Charlie Whitehurst fell victim to injury in the same game. Former 2009 first-round selection Josh Freeman stepped in to start the final game of the season. 
Lindley attempted just 10 passes with the Colts. 
Over four years in the NFL, he appeared in 10 games, starting six of them. Lindley has a career 1-5 record with a 51.1 percent completion percentage.
