LeSean McCoy’s Lawyer Denies RB Said He ‘Made a Mistake’ in Alleged Bar Incident

The lawyer for Buffalo Bills running back LeSean McCoy denied that his client made any admission of wrongdoing regarding an alleged assault on off-duty police officers on Feb. 7.
Larry Krasner told TMZ Sports on Thursday that McCoy said, "I'll make a statement sooner than later" rather than what some heard to be "I made a mistake."
McCoy's comments came during an impromptu encounter with Nick Piccone of PhillyInfluencer.com on Wednesday evening. The four-time Pro Bowler spoke quickly, making it difficult to understand what he said.
The alleged altercation McCoy was involved in took place at approximately 2:45 a.m. Sunday at the Recess Lounge in Philadelphia, according to a police report obtained by CSNPhilly.com's John Gonzalez.
A law enforcement official said two of the police officers suffered broken ribs, per Gonzalez. One of the officers also suffered a broken nose, while another was treated for a possible fractured skull.
