Aqib Talib Reportedly Fined $26,044 for Super Bowl Penalties: Details, Reaction

Denver Broncos cornerback Aqib Talib received $26,044 in fines on Friday for two penalties during the team's Super Bowl 50 victory over the Carolina Panthers.
Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reported that Talib received punishments for two separate calls, one for a facemask and one for taunting.
Mike Florio of Pro Football Talk reported earlier in the week that the NFL was considering suspending Talib for the facemask. Not only did he grab Panthers wide receiver Corey Brown by the helmet and toss him down, but he also later admitted it was intentional.
Doug Kyed of NESN.com passed along postgame comments from the defensive back about the calls against him, both of which occurred in the first half.
"It was all good," Talib said. "It was B.S. flags. One was on our sidelines—the guy was talking on our sideline. One I just did on purpose, and I just had to show him. It's probably going to be a fine, but hey, we're world champs."
