Kevin Kolb Has Philadelphia Eagles’ Confidence—But Will They Regret It?

The Philadelphia Eagles gave a huge vote of confidence to Kevin Kolb when they decided to trade Donovan McNabb to their division rivals, the Washington Redskins.
 
Eagles management made a statement that it feels comfortable moving forward with Kolb at the helm.
 
The question is, SHOULD they feel comfortable?
 
In Kolb, regardless of his impressive skill set, the Philadelphia Eagles have an unproven commodity. Kolb had two starts last year, one against New Orleans and one against Kansas City.
 
Against both teams, Kolb threw for more than 300 yards, which is a feat in itself. Against the inept Chiefs, he threw two touchdowns and no interceptions. But against New Orleans, he threw two touchdowns AND three interceptions.
 
So, at best, his performance last year was a mixed bag. At worst, an analyst could say that he performed as expected against a poor Kansas City team, while the three interceptions against New O...
