Report: Eagles Potentially Interested in Daniel Thursday, Feb. 18 According to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport, the Philadelphia Eagles could make a run at signing Daniel with the intention of allowing him to compete for the starting job:
New Eagles head coach Doug Pederson coached Daniel as offensive coordinator with the Kansas City Chiefs from 2013-2015.
Daniel went undrafted in 2009 after a spectacular collegiate career at Missouri, due largely to concerns about his height at just 6' tall.
He was eventually signed by the New Orleans Saints as a free agent, and he served as one of Drew Brees' backups from 2009-2012. He was also part of New Orleans' Super Bowl XLIV-winning squad.
