Muhammad Wilkerson Injury: Updates on Jets DT’s Recovery from Leg Surgery

New York Jets defensive end Muhammad Wilkerson suffered a fractured right fibula in the team's regular-season finale, and he's already attacking the rehabilitation process.

Wilkerson Begins Lengthy Rehabilitation Process Thursday, Feb. 18 Thursday, Wilkerson posted a message on Twitter confirming he is excited to take the next step after undergoing surgery in January: "Great visit with Dr. Anderson today in North Carolina. Leg responded great, starting rehab ahead of schedule. Anxious to get to work. Thanks for all the support!"
Wilkerson's timetable for recovery was pegged at six months, according to ESPN.com's Rich Cimini, so it stands to reason he could be back in time for the 2016 season opener. 
However, it remains to be seen where Wilkerson suits up.
