Impending free-agent running back Chris Johnson had his 2015 season with the Arizona Cardinals cut short because of a fractured tibia, but both sides are reportedly interested in a reunion.

Mutual Interest Between Cards, Johnson Entering Free Agency Tuesday, Feb. 23 "They want me back and I want to be back, but you know how the business side is," Johnson said Tuesday on SiriusXM NFL Radio (h/t FoxSports.com's Alex Marvez). "Everything has got to be right for both parties but I can't wait for both sides to get started (talking)."
Johnson was signed to a one-year, $870,000 contract by the Cardinals shortly before the 2015 season started, and he blew away expectations after he was thrust into the starting role while Andre Ellington battled a slew of injuries.
