Former Ohio State quarterback Cardale Jones' quest to make an impression at the NFL Scouting Combine hit a snag when he injured his hamstring during the workout process.

Jones Injured Running 40-Yard Dash Saturday, Feb. 28 Per Los Angeles Rams insider Myles Simmons, NFL Network reported Jones pulled his hamstring during his second 40-yard dash attempt.
Per NFL Network's Kimberly Jones, Jones said he is "done for the day" after leaving the field in Indianapolis.
It's a disappointing ending for Jones, who ran well in his first 40-yard attempt, via NFL Network:
Making matters worse for Jones is this was supposed to be his big moment to shine in front of NFL scouts. He is coming off a disappointing season at Ohio State in which he began 2015 as the starting quarterback, but erratic play led to his benching after seven starts.
