Doug Flutie Reportedly to Compete on ‘Dancing with the Stars’

Denver Broncos linebacker Von Miller and Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Antonio Brown won't be the only football players to participate in the 22nd season of Dancing with the Stars.
On Friday, NFL.com's Ian Rapoport reported former NFL quarterback and Heisman Trophy winner Doug Flutie will also take part in the popular ABC dancing competition in the spring.
When Flutie joins Miller, the Super Bowl 50 MVP, and Brown, an All-Pro in 2015, it will be the first time multiple NFL players compete in the same season, per NFL.com.
The former Boston College great will partner with Karina Smirnoff, per John Kubicek of BuddyTV.com.
Retired football players have fared well in the competition before. NFL all-time leading rusher Emmitt Smith won the show's third season, while former Green Bay Packers receiver Donald Driver won the 14th season. Legendary receiver Jerry Rice was the runner-up in the second season.
