Alec Scheiner Stepping Down as Browns President: Latest Details and Reaction

Cleveland Browns President Alec Scheiner will step down from his current role on March 31, per NFL Network's Ian Rapoport, who cited a team announcement Friday.
"We greatly appreciate Alec's commitment and work as president of the Cleveland Browns," Browns owners Dee and Jimmy Haslam said in a statement posted to the team's official website. "Alec is extremely capable and has helped us establish some very positive inroads with a significant focus on our fan experience, FirstEnergy Stadium and our business partners."
Scheiner, who will still serve as a consultant throughout the remainder of the year, according to the team statement, thanked the organization for entrusting him with such a significant front office role:
