Matt Moore Re-Signs with Dolphins: Latest Contract Details and Reaction

The Miami Dolphins signed backup quarterback Matt Moore to a two-year, $3.5 million deal on Tuesday, according to Ian Rapoport of NFL.com.
"He likes Miami," Moore's agent, Lynn Lashbrook, told Barry Jackson of the Miami Herald. "He and Ryan [Tannehill] get along great."
Moore met with the Dallas Cowboys, and other teams were interested in his services, per Jackson. But he ultimately decided to re-sign with Miami.
"He was very impressed with the new coach [Adam Gase]," Lashbrook added.
Moore, 31, has spent the last five seasons with the Dolphins and the last four seasons as Ryan Tannehill's backup. With Tannehill appearing in every game in his career, Moore has attempted just 30 passes in the past four years and appeared in just six games, throwing for 219 yards, a touchdown and two interceptions.
He threw only one pass in 2015.
