2016 NFL Free Agency: The Most Interesting One-Year Contracts

Every NFL offseason, there are multiple players that sign the legendary one-year "prove it deals."
Whether it be for coming off a past injury, a bad season or another circumstance, these players are bound and determined to illustrate they are worth a bigger payday during the following offseason.
Of course, these one-year deals come with a lot of risk. If the player who signed the one-year deal suffers another injury, his whole career is up in the air thereafter.
For the purposes of this slideshow, players who received the franchise tag will not be included; only those who signed a one-year contract. This also applies to players such as Jacksonville Jaguars tackle Kelvin Beachum who signed a one-year deal, but has options included. This is strictly one-year deals.
The eight players listed will be interesting for one reason or another. Whether it's the amount of money, an unexpected one-year deal or incentive-heavy, one-year deals are interesting nonetheless.
