Tim Tebow Says Politics Would Be ‘Intriguing’

Former NFL quarterback Tim Tebow left open the possibility of a political career in his future during an interview with Fox News at a charity golf tournament.
"I don't know in this time in my life," Tebow said in the interview when asked about pursuing politics, per TMZ Sports, before adding, "If there's a chance you can make a difference some day in something...then that would be intriguing."
Tebow, 28, last played for the Philadelphia Eagles during training camp before the 2015 season, but he didn't make the team. He last played in an NFL game in 2012 with the New York Jets, though he finished that season just 6-of-8 for 39 passing yards while also rushing 32 times for 102 yards.
Tebow was the 25th overall pick of the Denver Broncos in the 2010 NFL draft, and he led the Broncos to the playoffs in his second season. Denver signed Peyton Manning before the 2012 season, and Tebow was traded to the Jets, where he never made an impact.
