Buffalo Bills running back LeSean McCoy won't be charged for his alleged role in a brawl at Recess Lounge in Philadelphia that left off-duty police officers hospitalized, according to District Attorney Seth Williams, per David Gambacorta of Phillymag.com.
WKBW's Shawn Stepner reported the NFL is reviewing McCoy's incident and that there is no timeline on when a possible suspension or fine would be decided.
The Philadelphia Fraternal Order of Police responded to the news, criticizing the decision not to charge McCoy, via Jeff McLane of the Philadelphia Inquirer:
In February, NBC10 in Philadelphia reported charges were expected to be filed against McCoy after the four-time Pro Bowler, former San Diego Chargers running back Curtis Brinkley, Christopher Henderson and former University of Pittsburgh wide receiver Tamarcus Porter allegedly engaged in an altercation with off-duty police officers over a bottle of champagne.
