Quintin Demps Re-Signs with Texans: Latest Contract Details, Comments, Reaction

Free-agent safety Quintin Demps re-signed with the Houston Texans on Thursday, the team announced.
Mark Berman of Fox 26 initially reported the news.
Aaron Wilson of the Houston Chronicle reported the contract is a one-year deal worth $1.5 million. Berman confirmed the value of the contract.
The new deal ensures that Demps will continue his second tenure with the Texans after he spent three seasons with the team from 2010-2012 before rejoining it in 2015. Demps played with the Kansas City Chiefs and New York Giants, respectively, in 2013 and 2014. 
He took to Twitter after he signed his deal on Thursday:
Demps started a career-high 13 games and recorded 61 total tackles last season with Houston, which was a welcome sight given the struggles of Rahim Moore.  
Moore played in just seven games last season, his first of a three-year contract. The Texans released him in March.
