Johnny Manziel Reportedly Spoke with Denver Broncos About Potential Fit

Denver Broncos head coach Gary Kubiak spoke with free-agent quarterback Johnny Manziel about the quarterback's "potential fit for the team down the line, according to two sources connected to the team," per Adam Schefter of ESPN.com.
The team is not interested in signing Manziel, however, according to Mike Klis of 9News and Ian Rapoport of NFL.com. Per Rapoport, Kubiak reached out to Manziel a month ago.
Klis noted that Kubiak and Manziel have a "relationship" as Texas A&M alumni and that Kubiak "checked in with Manziel" after the Cleveland Browns released him. He added that Kubiak had a "long on-field talk with Manziel following Game 6 in Cleveland [last October]. Kubiak cares about him, but Johnny Football won't be a Bronco."

Schefter, meanwhile, reported the Broncos "want to see how his pending legal issues and potential NFL discipline are resolved" before even considering a move for the quarterback.
