Ben Ijalana to Jets: Latest Contract Details, Comments and Reaction

After the surprising retirement of left tackle D'Brickashaw Ferguson on Friday, the New York Jets addressed their offensive line depth by signing Ben Ijalana on Saturday.
According to ESPN.com's Rich Cimini, the deal is for one year, and financial terms have yet to be disclosed.
The 26-year-old Ijalana spent each of the past three seasons as a reserve lineman and Ferguson's primary backup for the Jets.
Ferguson announced his retirement after 10 NFL seasons with a letter on the Jets' website.
While Ferguson's retirement made offensive tackle a huge area of need for Gang Green, Manish Mehta of the New York Daily News reported the Jets planned to bring Ijalana back for a fourth season with the team regardless.
