The 2016 NFL draft is just one week from Thursday, which means speculation of what will happen is at an all-time high. The event is inherently unpredictable, as the smokescreens fade when the 10-minute clock expires. Months of rumors and analysis build into a dramatic and important decision for each franchise.
The most difficult scenarios to project in the draft are the trades that seemingly come out of nowhere. Trading a quality veteran player for a draft pick is a gamble for both teams involved but can aid a rebuilding effort or Super Bowl contender.
