Julian Edelman Injury: Updates on Patriots Star’s Recovery from Foot Surgery

New England Patriots wide receiver Julian Edelman is expected to be out until training camp after undergoing left foot surgery.

Edelman Undergoes Surgery Wednesday, May 11 ESPN's Adam Schefter reported the news. It's not clear when the surgery took place, but Schefter described it as a "cleanup procedure."
Edelman suffered a broken foot in Week 10 against the New York Giants and proceeded to miss his team’s final seven regular-season games. New England lost four of those contests after starting the campaign 9-0 with him lining up at receiver.
Edelman finished with 692 receiving yards and seven touchdowns during those nine games. He returned for the postseason, compiling 17 receptions for 153 yards in the Patriots' two games. The last time he played a full 16 contests was 2013, when he tallied 1,056 receiving yards and six touchdown catches.
