DeMarcus Ware Injury: Updates on Broncos Star’s Back and Return

Denver Broncos star linebacker DeMarcus Ware is dealing with back issues well in advance of the 2016 NFL season.

Ware Sits Out Day 1 of Organized Team Activities Tuesday, May 24 Broncos head coach Gary Kubiak implied Ware's absence from workouts wasn't too much cause for alarm.
"I would tell you it's probably more preventative than anything," said Kubiak of Ware's situation, per 9 News' Mike Klis. "He's going to be a day-to-day participant. I'm going to have about 10 guys that are going to go every other day. We'll probably make decisions on DeMarcus day to day on how he's feeling."
Ware was a little bit banged up throughout the 2015 season, beginning with back spasms that flared up in Week 5 and a left-knee injury suffered in Week 14. As Klis noted, back issues caused Ware to miss five contests this past year.
