Jamaal Charles Injury: Updates on Chiefs RB’s Recovery from ACL Surgery

Kansas City Chiefs running back Jamaal Charles is moving closer toward returning to the football field after tearing his ACL last October.

Charles Could Take Part in Minicamp Friday, June 10 Per ESPN's Adam Teicher, Chiefs head coach Andy Reid said it's possible Charles will take part in drills during minicamp next week. 
Teicher also noted Charles has been doing work with a trainer off the field as the rest of the Chiefs have been practicing. 
When healthy, Charles is one of the NFL's best running backs. Unfortunately for he and the Chiefs, staying healthy has been a problem for the 29-year-old over the last few years.
In 2011, he tore his left ACL in the second game of the season and missed the remainder of the campaign. Five games into the 2015 season, Charles tore his right ACL and was out for the rest of the year.
