49ers WR Torrey Smith Participates in MCW Wrestling Event

Wide receiver Torrey Smith left the Baltimore Ravens for the San Francisco 49ers last offseason, but he once again made his presence felt in the state of Maryland Friday night by taking part in a Maryland Championship Wrestling event in Baltimore. 
According to Ryan Satin of Pro Wrestling Sheet, the 27-year-old wideout got physically involved in a match, helping former WWE Superstar Damien Sandow, Colt Cabana, The Bruiser and Johnny Crabcakes beat The Kings in an eight-man tag team match.

While Smith did leave the Ravens, he remains a popular figure in the state of Maryland. He was a huge contributing factor in Baltimore's last Super Bowl victory, and he attended the University of Maryland prior to being selected in the second round of the 2011 NFL draft.
