Ravens, Tucker Still Not Making Progress Monday, June 13 “As of right now, there hasn’t been a whole lot happening, but there’s still time,” Tucker said Sunday at safety Lardarius Webb’s charity softball game, per Jake Lourim of the Baltimore Sun. “Like I’ve said before, I’m optimistic that something will get done. It’s a matter of when, not if.”
The Ravens hit Tucker with the franchise tag in February. The deal guarantees him $4.5 million for 2016, but the tag has always been seen as a necessary evil before a long-term contract.
