Dez Bryant Sued By Texas State Senator Over Damage to Rental Home

Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Dez Bryant is being sued by Texas State Sen. Royce West for more than $60,000 in alleged damages to a house West has owned since 2009. 
Tom Steele of the Dallas Morning News reported on the lawsuit Wednesday, indicating West is part of a support group that mentors Bryant.
Per Steele, West wants between $100,000 and $200,000 in damages. In the lawsuit, his attorneys called the treatment of the home in DeSoto, Texas, "negligent and abusive."
Kim Miale, Bryant's agent, had no comment on the case, according to Steele.
Bryant allegedly refuses to accept responsibility for the property damage, according to West's lawyers. Among the damage caused, per Steele, the rented house was "littered with trash and feces, missing blinds and shutters, with cracked windows and blackened carpeting."
