Imagine, for a moment, what it would be like as a Saints fan to have one of the top three quarterbacks in the game, a very underrated group of running backs and receivers, and perhaps the best offensive mind in all of football. It's not too hard to imagine because that is the reality.
Now imagine that the top three QB, underrated RBs and WRs, and top offensive mind were all wasted because their front five couldn't block your grandma.
The New Orleans Saints could be just that, if they didn't have one of the top offensive lines in all of football. However, because their line is so good, Sean Payton can put his uber creative mind to good use.
It looks like things will stay the same for quite some time.
On Wednesday, the Saints reached a contract agreement with Jahri Evans, the guy Payton says is their best and most consistent offensive lineman.
It's unusual to heap such praise on a right guard, but then again there is rarely a right guard as dominant as Evans...
