Dez Bryant Sues Former Financial Adviser: Latest Details, Comments, Reaction

One month after getting sued by his former financial adviser, Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Dez Bryant filed a countersuit Tuesday.
According to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport, the superstar wideout sued Royce West, alleging the Texas state senator was both negligent and fraudulent as a means to profit from Bryant's fame and fortune.
Per Rapoport, Bryant's lawsuit states West and another former member of Bryant's team, David Wells, essentially used the Pro Bowler's brand to embezzle funds: "Then, West would instruct endorsement companies and others to make payments for any endorsement agreements to Wells, not Bryant. Many of these payments stopped at Wells and/or West but never reached Bryant."
It is alleged in the suit Wells owes Bryant over $200,000 and that West owes $300,000 due to actions taken by his law firm. Bryant is also seeking additional damages along with the money he believes he is owed, per the lawsuit: "Such malicious and reckless conduct justifies an award of...
