Unrestricted free-agent wide receiver Roddy White will turn 35 just a short time after the 2016 NFL season gets underway, but he is currently searching for a team to play for.

White Talking With Teams, Wants To Play In 2016 Tuesday, July 27 According to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport on Tuesday, White is "in contact with a few teams and wants to play."
White spent his first 11 NFL seasons with the Atlanta Falcons where he is the franchise leader in receptions, yards and touchdowns. 
He recorded six straight seasons from 2007 to 2012 of 1,000 or more yards and led the NFL in 2010 with 115 receptions. But three subpar seasons resulted in his release from the team in March even with two years remaining on his contract. 
While some might consider it a shrewd way to treat one of the franchise's best players, White revealed to ESPN.com's Vaughn McClure that he saw the writing on the wall:
