Kurt Coleman, Panthers Reportedly Agree to New Contract: Details, Reaction

After a strong first season with the Carolina Panthers, free safety Kurt Coleman reportedly agreed to a three-year contract extension on Tuesday.
NFL Network's Ian Rapoport initially reported the news of Coleman's new deal, which he's expected to sign on Wednesday. David Newton of ESPN confirmed the report. 
Coleman, 28, spent his first four NFL seasons with the Philadelphia Eagles, who drafted him in the seventh round. He then played one year for the Kansas City Chiefs and recorded a team-high three interceptions before going to the Panthers ahead of last season.
The 2015 campaign was Coleman's best to date, as he made 15 starts and racked up 90 combined tackles, nine passes defensed, seven interceptions, a defensive touchdown and a sack. He was a cornerstone in a strong secondary that also featured cornerback Josh Norman and helped Carolina to a 15-1 record.
