Scot McCloughan Punched Wall After Hearing of Josh Doctson Achilles Injury

In an ironic twist, Washington Redskins general manager Scot McCloughan injured his hand after hearing an update regarding the health of first-round draft pick Josh Doctson.
ESPN 980's Chris Cooley (via Michael Phillips of the Richmond Times-Dispatch) explained the circumstances behind McCloughan's injury.
"I said, 'What happened to your hand?'" Cooley recalled on the radio. "He said, when I found out about Doctson—which they thought was going to be much worse, the Doctson injury, apparently it isn't going to be as bad—I punched the wall."
Phillips shared a photo of McCloughan's left hand wrapped up:
Per John Keim of ESPN.com, Doctson suffered the injury—described as a tweak to his Achilles—back in June. On Thursday, head coach Jay Gruden said that he was going to limit Doctson's workouts at training camp since he's still in the process of recovering, per the team's official Twitter account.
