Seahawks to Bring In Evans Thursday, Aug. 4 According to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport, the Seattle Seahawks will bring in Evans for a visit on Friday. 
After the Saints selected him in the fourth round of the 2006 draft, Evans was a consistent contributor on the team's offensive line.
In his decade in New Orleans, he missed just seven games, five of which came last season, when he needed arthroscopic knee surgery after Week 2.
He earned a trip to six Pro Bowls, was a four-time first-team All-Pro and helped New Orleans win Super Bowl XLIV.
Throughout his time with the Saints, Evans helped quarterback Drew Brees feel comfortable in the pocket, as Nick Underhill of the New Orleans Advocate noted in February.
