Former Cleveland Browns quarterback Johnny Manziel has reportedly re-enrolled at Texas A&M University, per the Dallas Morning News' Ben Baby and ESPN.com's Sam Khan Jr.
According to Baby, Manziel is considered a senior and will look to complete his degree in recreation, parks and tourism sciences.
Manziel spent three years at Texas A&M as a member of the football team before going to the NFL. He redshirted his freshman year, and over the next two seasons, he threw for a combined 7,820 yards, 63 touchdowns and 22 interceptions.
In 2012, he became the first freshman to win the Heisman Trophy, and in his two years as the starting quarterback for the Aggies, the team won 20 games, including victories in the Cotton Bowl and Chick-fil-A Bowl.
The fact the 23-year-old returned to college likely means he has given up hope of signing with an NFL team this season. The Cleveland Browns released him in March, and he has yet to find another home in the league.
