NFL Announces Plans to Commemorate 15th Anniversary of September 11 Attacks

The NFL announced plans Friday to commemorate the 15th anniversary of Sept. 11, 2001.
According to an official press release, "The NFL will feature special tributes to honor those who lost their lives and share an inspirational message of hope, unity and community service and engagement."

Video messages from President Barack Obama and former President George W. Bush will be displayed in every NFL stadium hosting a game Sunday. 
President Obama will appear on all in-stadium video messages during the 1 p.m. and 4:05 p.m. ET broadcast windows, while Bush's message will be shown prior to the national anthem during the 4:25 p.m. ET window. 
Both Obama and Bush will appear for a video message before the New England Patriots and Arizona Cardinals play Sunday at 8:30 p.m. ET. 
Additionally, teams' coaching staffs will wear special Sept. 11 lapel pins, and Sept. 11 decals will be applied to players' helmets.
