Jared Cook Injury: Updates on Packers TE’s Ankle and Return

Green Bay Packers tight end Jared Cook is recovering from a high-ankle sprain suffered in Week 3 against the Detroit Lions. His official status against the New York Giants in Week 5 following the team's bye has yet to be revealed.

Latest on Cook's Recovery Timeline Tuesday, Sept. 27 NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reported on Tuesday that "Cook suffered a high-ankle sprain in the team's win, source said. It's pretty swollen and could cause him to miss time."
ESPN.com's Rob Demovsky reported on Monday that although Cook was seen wearing a protective boot and walking on crutches following the Lions game, Cook is not expected to miss the remainder of the season. Demovsky, citing a source, reported that Cook "is expected to miss some time after this week's bye, but the team is still trying to determine whether Cook will miss only a game or multiple games."
