DeForest Buckner Injury: Updates on 49ers DE’s Leg and Return

San Francisco 49ers rookie defensive lineman DeForest Buckner suffered a leg injury in Sunday's Week 4 game against the Dallas Cowboys.

Rookie Carted Off Field Sunday, Oct. 2 Jennifer Lee Chan of NFLFemale.com showed Buckner heading into the locker room on a cart during Sunday's game:
According to Matt Maiocco of CSN Bay Area, he needed crutches and an orthopedic boot after the game.
The rookie had five tackles before coming out of the game.
The 49ers grabbed Buckner with the seventh overall pick in this year's draft in an effort to upgrade a defensive line that struggled last season. San Francisco ranked 29th in both sacks and rushing yards allowed during the 2015 campaign.
The 22-year-old Oregon product remained mostly healthy during his time with the Ducks. He underwent a knee procedure following the 2014 campaign and dealt with a minor wrist injury in his senior season. Neither of those issues stopped him from playing all 28 games...
